If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese Pho, this is the place. I was fortunate enough to have traveled to Vietnam last spring. The Pho there was obviously amazing. Craving the same taste experience, my husband and I decided to try Pho to luv. We were not disappointed! The broth was phenomenal! Our friends also loved their food selections as well. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! We will most definitely be back!
I’ve eaten at Pho To Luv three times now, and unfortunately my most recent visit was very different from my first two. My first two visits were exceptional — great food and great service. The first time, my server (a gentleman in his 30s–40s) was extremely kind and made my first pho experience really enjoyable. The second visit was just as good, with another server (early 20s possibly) who was attentive and friendly. Both times, when I asked to take my pho to go, it was packaged with the noodles separated from the broth without any issue, which I really appreciated since the bowls are huge and I don’t usually eat them right away. Today, however, the service fell short. My server (an older woman 50s-60s possibly) did not provide the same level of hospitality. When I asked for my pho to go, she initially brought it back packaged with the noodles already in the broth after I asked for it to be separated. She informed me she forgot and tried to hand me the food, I asked again for it to be separated so the rice noodles wouldn’t get mushy. Instead of helping, she handed me an empty bowl and told me to do it myself, stating “we don’t do that for you.” She then mentioned asking another server, who supposedly said he wouldn’t do it either — which was confusing, considering this exact request was handled for me during my first two visits without any issue. At that point, I had already paid and tipped, and I was simply asking for my food to be packaged properly. After she separated the noodles she handed me a bag and said “here can you help me and put it in a bag). There were also a few small but frustrating details: I asked for napkins and never received them, requested a small container for Sriracha and had to ask twice. While none of these things alone are major, combined they made the experience feel unwelcoming and uncomfortable. The food was still good overall, though I did notice the noodles were thicker than during my previous visits. I really enjoy this place and know it can be great based on my past experiences — I just hope the service becomes more consistent, because today was a letdown compared to how wonderful my first two visits were.
Pho To Luv is located near the Daytona Beach Speedway. We started with shrimp summer rolls, which were fresh and light. I ordered the beef pho. The beef was sliced very thin, and the broth was rich and comforting. I also ordered Vietnamese drip coffee with condensed milk. It was sweet and smooth. I think it’s a solid option in the Speedway area for authentic Vietnamese food and pho, and I would highly recommend it.
First time here and it was a great experience. I got beef pho and the bowl was so big I couldn’t finish it. There was so much flavor! I also got the coconut drink and the waitress said that when I was done they could cut it open so I could eat the meat out so that’s exactly what I did. It was delicious! Highly recommend stopping by!
Pretty good banh mi for the Daytona area, though the bread isn’t quite right— too thick (in fact it is so thick I had trouble fitting the sandwiches in my mouth, which is not an issue I’ve ever had with a banh mi before in my life). All of the meats and toppings were fresh and flavorful. The kitchen was fairly slow, and my server was difficult to communicate with and seemed easily confused.
The staff are very welcoming and attentive. This may be the best food I've had in Daytona Beach and the prices are very reasonable. Portions are enormous so bring an empty stomach. If you like extra spice ask and they'll give you some extremely potent chili oil from the kitchen. Use it sparingly! We will be back soon.
Great little place. The gentlemen who waited on us was so friendly. Place was clean and busy. We had spring rolls so beautiful and light. My son had the short rib pho. Which was big enough for 2 meals and so delicious. I had the cold dish with grilled pork. Super tasty and bountiful. My husband also had pho and devoured the whole thing. All is all great food and great service.
This restaurant never disappoints! The pho broth is rich, flavorful, and absolutely authention, one of the best I’ve had. But what really surprised me was the Vermicelli Rice with Grilled Chicken, it was delicious! The chicken was perfectly grilled, tender, and packed with flavor. The portion was generous, and the fresh veggies made it even better. The portions are huge, so you’ll definitely leave satisfied. On top of that, the customer service here is excellent! The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome. Definitely a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese food. Highly recommend!
